Maggie Wilson is a playwright from Cayucos living in Brooklyn. Plays of hers have been performed in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Florida at PianoFight, 3Girls Theatre, The Tank, Cherry Lane, Manhattan School of Music and more. Her commissioned musical JOCKAMO, that she co-created with blues singer Wayne Harris, played in October 2021 to sold-out houses in Berkeley, California at The Marsh’s Festival of New Musical Voices. Her mother-daughter play FROM THE BATH was named a 2021 Jane Chambers finalist, received a developmental reading at HERE Arts with The Artist Co-op, and was selected for the 2023 Clay & Water Festival with Clamour Theater. Maggie received a 2022/2023 Playwriting Residency with Playground to complete her new play POWERFUL.
